Research
I am a junior scientist (tenure-track) at the RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment (EIEE), part of the Fondazione Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC), working on European projects CIRCOMOD and PRISMA (Horizon Europe Programme). My research primarily focuses on assessing the socioeconomic, resource and climatic impacts of climate change mitigation policies, with a focus on circular economy systems. I am currently developing the CIRCEE model, designed to analyze the key transmission channels of circular economy strategies and lifestyle changes at both the consumer and producer levels. Additionally, I explore the application of auction theory in modeling specific aspects of the circular economy, such as second-hand and waste markets. My work also includes integrating technological improvements in recycling technologies and green product design into macroeconomic models.
