Research

I am a tenure-track Assistant Professor at the China-UK Low Carbon College of Shanghai Jiao Tong University. My research primarily focuses on assessing the socioeconomic, resource and climatic impacts of climate change mitigation policies, with a focus on circular economy systems. I am currently developing the CIRCular Energy-Economy (CIRCEE) model, designed to analyze the key transmission channels of circular economy strategies at both the consumer and producer levels. My current research focuses on technological advancement toward green product design within macroeconomic models, and the role of enablers like consumer behavior and policies in incentivizing innovation in that area.

The CIRCEE model has been developed since my post-doctoral years (2022-2025) at RFF-CMCC European Institute on Economics and the Environment (EIEE), part of the Fondazione Centro Euro-Mediterraneo sui Cambiamenti Climatici (CMCC), under the Horizon Europe projects CIRCOMOD and PRISMA.
